WCM5 sereis moulded case circuit breaker (MCCB shor short), is one of new type breakers researched and developed by advanced design and manufacture technology with rated operation voltage upto 690V, rated insulation voltage 800V, rated impulse withstand voltage upto 8kV, rated operation current from 10A to 630A. WCM5 series MCCB applies for distribution and motor protection, also for fire protection.
MCCB has functions of overload, short circuit, under voltage to protect the line and power devices from demage. It is divided into four types of Type C (basic), Type L (standard), Type M( higher breaking capacity) and Type H (highest breaking capacity) according to rated ultimate short circuit breaking capacity ranking. It has features of small volume, high breaking, short flashover (no flashover with shield) etc.
